Using the bag is simple and versatile. You can use it with or without a coupler. For use without a coupler, just drop your desired decorating tip into the bag, narrow end first, and trim the pointed end of the bag with scissors to fit the tip snugly. If you prefer using a coupler, trim the bag to accommodate the coupler base. Twist the ring off the base, drop the base (narrow end first) into the bag, and push it as far down as possible. Mark the spot on the outside of the bag where the bottom thread of the coupler is outlined against the material. Remove the coupler and cut across the mark. Then, fit the tip inside the coupler and drop it into the bag, pushing it through the opening. Ensure that one thread of the coupler is visible outside the narrow end of the bag.
Maintaining the bag is easy. Before and after each use, wash the bag, tip, and coupler in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue. Allow the bag to air dry completely, or wipe it with a soft cloth to speed up the drying process.
